Aisi subah na aaye, aaye na aisi shaam
Jis din juba pe meri aaye na Shiv ka naam
May such a morning not come, nor such an evening, When the name of Lord Shiva does not come upon my lips. This verse expresses the desire that every morning and evening, the devotee’s thoughts and words are filled with the name of Lord Shiva. The devotee wishes for a state of constant remembrance and devotion to the deity.

Man mandir mein vaas hai tera, teri chhavi basai.
Your presence resides in the temple of my heart, your image dwells within. Here, the devotee acknowledges that their heart is the temple where the divine presence of Lord Shiva resides.

Pyaasi aatma banke jogan, teri sharan mein aai.
Thirsty soul, assuming the form of a yogi, has come into your refuge. The devotee identifies themselves as a thirsty soul seeking spiritual fulfillment and has surrendered to the divine protection and guidance of Lord Shiva.

Teri hi charano mein paaya, maine yeh vishraam.

Mukt kiya toone prabhu mujhko, shat shat hai pranaam.
